 Our lovely 15‑metre magnesium pool is the heart of the retreat.   Infused with dissolved magnesium mineral salts, the water feels wonderfully gentle on the skin, hair and eyes. This natural mineral blend creates a cleaner, more environmentally friendly swimming experience, and the magnesium absorbed through the skin can help ease muscle tension, help sleep and melt away stress.

After a sauna session, take an invigorating plunge into the pool for an instant refresh that leaves you feeling more energised.

Pool towels are provided for all guests in the changerooms beside the sauna.

 Our cedarwood wet sauna is the ultimate tool for your health and relaxation. Long cherished for its health benefits, a sauna will help you reduce stress and promote relaxation. Pour water to the heated stones to produce steam and increase humidity. Sit back and relax to sooth sore muscles and improve joint flexibility, boost your immune system, improve skin health and eliminate toxins - a fabulous addition to your stay.

With a great selection of Hunter Valley wines, beers and spirits, Andy's Bar is a great place to relax after a hard day's touring the vineyards. Try one of our two types of Wine Country Retreat beers or grab a glass of local wine and relax on the comfortable lounges, or on the expansive deck to watch the sunset. You can even grab a grazing board or a cheese plate to share. 

Why not indulge an exclusive tasting with a local winemaker, every Monday and Friday evening, and stay for a meal from our Bar Menu 6pm - 8pm.

What's the easiest way to get around the Hunter Valley's world-renowned wineries and restaurants? Relax and let us do the driving! For larger groups we have a Renault Master van (up to 10 people) and for couples we have a saloon car, and we can take you wherever you want to go around the Valley! 

From just $35 per trip, bookings essential.  

There's something magical about gathering around a fire, in the cool of the evening. Join us on those long winter nights by a crackling fire in our huge fire pit. Grab your friends and a glass of Hunter Valley shiraz and you've got the ultimate cozy chill-out session. BYO marshmallows! 

Subject to local fire restrictions and weather conditions. Please check with Reception to ensure there is wood available. 

If you feel the need to work off some of that amazing Hunter Valley food, head to our gym, located with a fantastic view over the pool. This handy little gym has free weights, a weight bench, exercise bike and stepper. Grab a yoga mat and head onto the deck for some stretching or a mediation session in the sunshine.
